Eligibility
If you are considering applying for an exchange or a double degree, it is important to check beforehand that your institution has an agreement with EPF. To do this, contact your institution's international relations department and find out about the application procedure.
Once your university has pre-selected you, you will be nominated by EPF and can start your application.
Please keep in mind that the exchange program is exclusively for taught programs (no internships or thesis supervision).

The academic year is divided into two semesters, and an orientation week is usually scheduled before the semester begins.

As you may notice, most courses are delivered in French. To successfully complete modules and courses, you must first demonstrate adequate French language proficiency. A B1 level in French is necessary if you choose courses taught in French.
For students opting for courses offered in English, a B2 level in English is required. Official test results are mandatory (or OLS test results for Erasmus students). However, we strongly advise you to achieve at least a beginner's level in French before arriving in France. An intensive French Language program is available during the summer.
Other requirements
Exchange students are required to complete and engage in a minimum of 20 ECTS credits per semester, with a maximum limit of 30.
Additionally, you are expected to attend classes and complete all assessments for the courses you are registered in at EPF.
