Accreditations, labels & rankings

The quality of EPF's programs and teaching methods is now recognized by the most prestigious official labels and awards.

EPF has been awarded the EESPIG label, which recognizes private, not-for-profit establishments that contribute to the public service of higher education and research, award diplomas on behalf of the State and are regularly monitored by public authorities.

This prestigious distinction rewards establishments not only for their non-profit nature, but also for the quality of their teaching and training, and for their commitment to public service missions such as research, professional integration, international openness and equal opportunities.

Created in 1973, the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) today groups 227 Grandes Écoles (engineering, management, architecture, design, institute of political studies, etc.), all of which are recognized by the French State and award a Master's degree.

Admission to the CGE is based on stringent criteria covering structure, recruitment methods, teaching approach, international outlook, links with the business world, student support and the nature of degrees.

Since 1938, EPF has been accredited for all its diplomas by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI), an independent organization tasked by the French government with evaluating all engineering training programs.

EPF programs are registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications (RNCP). They lead to RNCP titles issued by the French Ministry of Labour, recognized by the State throughout the country and serving as a guarantee of quality on the job market.

  • The EPF General Engineering program leads to the RNCP title of EPF Graduate Engineer.

  • The EPF Apprenticeship Engineering program, specializing in Information Systems, leads to the RNCP title of EPF Graduate Engineer, Information Systems specialization.

  • The Bachelor in Engineering – Data Sciences and Management leads to the Bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering – Information Systems.

  • The Bachelor in Energy and Environmental Engineering leads to the Bachelor’s degree in Science and Engineering – Energy and Environmental Engineering.

  • The Bachelor in Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity Engineering leads to the RNCP title of Network and Cybersecurity Administrator.

EPF has chosen to take part in prestigious competitive entrance exams:

  • The Concours Avenir, which is currently the most attractive in terms of the number of candidates, but also the most selective of the various competitive entrance exams for post-bac engineering schools.
  • The Centrale-Supélec and Banque PT competitive entrance exams for direct entry into the master's cycle.

Ranked 10ᵉ private post-bac engineering school in Figaro Étudiant's 2025 rankings, EPF confirms the quality of its courses, noted for their employability and international outlook. 

The school stands out for its excellent employability, with nearly 97% of its graduates employed three months after graduation, and an average gross annual salary of €44,788, including bonuses. 

International openness is also a major asset: with 170 partner universities around the world, EPF offers its students numerous opportunities to enrich their international careers. Thanks to innovative teaching methods and a high-quality academic environment, EPF prepares its students to face the challenges of tomorrow, by developing skills adapted to the issues of the future.

The “Bienvenue en France” label is an initiative led by Campus France, aimed at strengthening the internationalization and attractiveness of French higher education institutions. This label is awarded to institutions that offer a high level of quality in welcoming and supporting international students.

Overall, the “Bienvenue en France” label helps international students identify institutions committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment, making it easier for them to integrate and settle in France.

A rich and fulfilling student life

EPF has been certified “Happy at School”, a distinction based on a survey carried out directly with students, which rewards the school for the fulfillment of its students.

EPF awarded Best School Experience 2024 by Speak & Act

Speak & Act is the first employer and school branding platform to label schools offering the best student experience, in order to inform, support and guide students towards the right school. The “Best School Experience - Happiness Barometer” label is based exclusively on the opinions of students collected via an anonymous questionnaire, guaranteeing impartiality and independence.

EPF has been awarded the “Best School Experience - Happiness Barometer” 2024 label for :

  • Quality of community life
  • Quality of premises
  • Quality of teaching materials available to students
