A student of the MSc ICE honored for its aero project
The AERO 3D project, led by Benoît DAVID (EPF student of the MSc Innovation, Creation & Entrepreneurship at Troyes) and integrated in all business projects proposed in the Master of Science ICE, received congratulations from the jury during its last validation.
The starting point of this project is Benoît's passion for aeronautics and his desire to provide a reference aeroplane in the world of aerobatics.
Having bought the rights to an aeroplane in order to improve its performance and to offer a new range, Benoît decided to incubate the project through a group of students of the MSc ICE composed of engineers, designers and business students. The result is a real success for this young team which recently announced the first orders for the new aircraft.
Throughout the course of the Master ICE, they were able to precisely define their commercial targets, the offer, and the industrialization while validating their technical proposals through a cockpit prototype of scale 1. This achievement has a particular resonance in our engineering school because aeronautics is historically the oldest of the options proposed by EPF: it was created in 1933.
EPF wishes success to these new entrepreneurs and to Aero3D society.
