Two distinct phases for a unique journey

This collaboration between two leading institutions in the Occitania Region highlights their shared commitment to academic excellence and pedagogical innovation to address the complex challenges faced by local businesses during their transition.

The program will unfold in two distinct phases. Firstly, students will participate in a semester exchange to transfer credits. This will provide EPF Montpellier campus students in engineering and Montpellier Business School students in Grande École and MSc programs with an exchange opportunity starting in fall 2024.

Then, starting in September 2025, a specific four-year dual-degree program will be launched, allowing MBS students to spend three semesters at EPF to obtain a general engineering degree.

A commitment to corporate social responsibility and innovation

At the heart of this new hybrid program, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovation will occupy a central place in the curriculum, reflecting both schools' commitment to training leaders in a responsible economy.

Choice of Majors and specializations for personalized education

MBS students will have the option to choose between two majors offered by EPF, Energy & Environment and Data Engineering, while EPF students will have the opportunity to take specialization courses in Big Data, Digital Transformation, or Fintech within the MSc program at MBS.

Collaboration for a dynamic regional ecosystem

By closely collaborating, MBS and EPF contribute to the emergence of a dynamic regional ecosystem focused on innovation and sustainability, in alignment with their shared values of CSR and sustainable energy.

Bruno Ducasse, Director of MBS, emphasizes that this agreement paves the way for further initiatives aimed at training a new generation of managers capable of addressing the ecological, social, and digital transition challenges faced by businesses.

Emmanuel Duflos, Director of EPF, adds that there is a growing need in companies for engineer-manager profiles capable of proposing innovative and adaptive solutions to complex problems, making this program a relevant response to this increasing demand.
